Autumn Kenyan White

This autumn-harvested white tea offers a gentle sweetness and a remarkably smooth, mellow character. Unlike delicate spring teas, it possesses a comforting roundness, making it an excellent choice for. It leans sweet, mellow and smooth.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Fujian, China from the Fuding Dabaicha cultivar. This batch is from the Autumn 2023 harvest.
