This high-mountain oolong from Taiwan's La La Shan offers a wonderfully smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Delicate floral aromas intertwine with a subtle sweetness, creating a comforting and elegant cup. I. It leans floral, creamy and sweet.
How should I brew La La Shan?
Water around 85–95 °C (185–205 °F). In a mug, steep 3–4 min. For gongfu, use 5–7 g per 100 ml, 10–30 s steeps (8–15 rounds). You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Heavier roasts can take boiling water no problem.
Where does La La Shan come from?
Grown in Taiwan, Taiwan from the Qing Xin Oolong cultivar. This batch is from the Spring 2025 harvest. The leaves got a light roast after picking.
