About This Tea
What does taste like?
This rare Darjeeling white tea offers an exquisitely smooth experience, with sweet fruits and velvety cream dancing on the palate. Expect enchanting whispers of dragon fruit and honeydew melon, envelo. It leans fruity, creamy and sweet.
How should I brew ?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does come from?
Grown in Darjeeling, Assam, India from the AV2 cultivar. This batch is from the Summer 2025 harvest.
How much does cost?
Starts at $28.18 from Tea Gardenia, or about $0.56/g. A 50g package gets you around 8 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $3.36 per session. Explore more white teas on Teadar.
