About This Tea
What does taste like?
This delicate summer white tea unfurls with an enchanting bouquet of sweet ripe fruits, notably black grape and tropical muskmelon, complemented by a soft, luscious hint of honeysuckle. A harmonious t. It leans fruity, floral and sweet.
How should I brew ?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does come from?
Grown in Darjeeling, Assam, India from the AV2 cultivar. This batch is from the Summer 2023 harvest.
How much does cost?
Starts at $25.92 from Tea Gardenia, or about $0.52/g. A 50g package gets you around 8 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $3.12 per session. Explore more white teas on Teadar.
