About This Tea

What does 2023 Charing Cross taste like?
This intriguing white tea offers a profound experience, opening with sweet notes of fig jam intertwined with an ethereal, flame-kissed floral perfume. Its unique charcoal roast brings a hypnotic depth. It leans sweet, floral and fruity.
How should I brew 2023 Charing Cross?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does 2023 Charing Cross come from?
Grown in Yunnan, China. This batch is from the 2023 harvest. The leaves got a heavy roast after picking.
