About This Tea
What does Baimudan White Tea taste like?
This Baimudan offers a gentle and delicate profile with a soft bean-like flavor that melts into a fresh and tender aroma. The liquor is a clear golden green, providing a soothing experience that calms. It leans delicate, vegetal and sweet.
How should I brew Baimudan White Tea?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does Baimudan White Tea come from?
Grown in Fujian, China. This batch is from the Spring harvest. The leaves got a light roast after picking.
How much does Baimudan White Tea cost?
Starts at $13.79 from Yee On Tea, or about $0.13/g. A 100g package gets you around 17 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $0.78 per session. Explore more white teas on Teadar.
