Spring Rare White

This unique white tea offers a delightful balance of fruity sweetness with a subtle grassy umami note. Its smooth character makes it approachable now, and it promises to evolve into a rich honey-malt . It leans fruity, sweet and umami.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Yunnan, China from the Snow Bud #100 cultivar. This batch is from the Spring harvest.
