This aged white tea from Jingmai presents a unique profile, starting with an incredibly sweet character that softens any potential bitterness. Its fragrance evokes notes of damp autumn leaves and a quiet walk through a woody forest after the rain, all balanced by a light mouthfeel that remains long-brewing and forgiving.

About This Tea

What does Summer 2018 Jingmai Moonlight taste like?
This aged white tea from Jingmai presents a unique profile, starting with an incredibly sweet character that softens any potential bitterness. Its fragrance evokes notes of damp autumn leaves and a qu. It leans sweet, woody and earthy.
How should I brew Summer 2018 Jingmai Moonlight?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does Summer 2018 Jingmai Moonlight come from?
Grown in Yunnan, China. This batch is from the Summer 2018 harvest.
