Ya Bao

This ancient tree white tea offers a delicate symphony of sweet, ethereal floral notes, reminiscent of blooming cherry blossoms. Its smooth, medium body carries subtle hints of fresh hay and stone fru. It leans floral, sweet and delicate.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Yunnan, China from the Menghai Daye cultivar.
