Aged Yunnan White Tea

This aged white tea cake from Jinggu, Yunnan, presents a delightful journey of subtle evolution. Expect a smooth, mellow liquor with notes of sweet hay, dried apricots, and a delicate floral undertone. It leans floral, hay and sweet.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Yunnan, China. This batch is from the 2018 harvest.
