Spring General Aged White Tea

This 2021 Spring White Tea from Zhenghe, Fujian, presents a delicate yet evolving profile. Expect notes of sweet hay and faint wildflowers, softening into a comforting, subtly honeyed finish as the te. It leans floral, hay and sweet.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Fujian, China from the Fuding Da Bai cultivar. This batch is from the Spring 2021 harvest.
