About This Tea
What does Big Broom White taste like?
This distinctive white tea offers a dynamic flavor journey. It begins with creamy, fresh vegetal notes reminiscent of cucumber, evolving into richer, sweeter tones of fig and red dates. A subtle, warm. It leans vegetal, creamy and fruity.
How should I brew Big Broom White?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does Big Broom White come from?
Grown in Fujian, China from the Fuding Da Bai cultivar. This batch is from the Summer 2025 harvest.
How much does Big Broom White cost?
Starts at $10.00 from One River Tea, or about $0.28/g. A 30g package gets you around 5 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $1.68 per session. Explore more white teas on Teadar.
