This fresh 2024 Bai Mudan cake offers an initial burst of sweet florals and green hay, characteristic of high-quality white peony. As it develops, expect a smooth, gentle body with a clean finish, pro. It leans floral, fresh and smooth.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
