What does taste like?
This robust and bold tea offers a delightful aroma with prominent pinewood notes, evolving into rich caramel and sweet smoky accents. The journey deepens with each infusion, revealing a pleasant bitte. It leans pinewood, smoky and caramel.
How should I brew ?
Water around 90–100 °C (195–212 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 5 g per 100 ml, 15–30 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Full boil is fine for most blacks. Don't overthink it.
Where does come from?
Grown in Assam, India from the Camellia Sinensis var. Assamica cultivar. This batch is from the Spring 2015 harvest. The leaves got a heavy roast after picking.
