About This Tea
What does taste like?
This exceptional aged white tea from Assam unveils a delicate and smooth character. Initial sips reveal vibrant floral notes, reminiscent of white lilies, which evolve into a velvety texture mid-palat. It leans floral, fruity and velvety.
How should I brew ?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does come from?
Grown in Assam, India. This batch is from the 2020 harvest.
How much does cost?
Starts at $23.67 from Tea Gardenia, or about $0.47/g. A 50g package gets you around 8 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $2.82 per session. Explore more white teas on Teadar.
