General Aged White Tea

This aged white tea from Taimu Mountain offers a beautifully mellow and complex profile. Expect notes of dried dates and hay, underscored by a comforting earthiness. The lingering finish is subtly swe. It leans mellow, earthy and sweet.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Fujian, China from the Fuding Dabaicha cultivar. This batch is from the 2019 harvest.
