Spring Moonlight White

This 2018 Moonlight White from Yunnan offers a beautifully mellow and full-bodied cup. With age, its initial freshness has transformed into rich notes of honey and delicate florals, culminating in a h. It leans mellow, honey and floral.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Yunnan, China from the Jinggu Dabai cultivar. This batch is from the Spring 2018 harvest.
