About This Tea
What does Nok Cha taste like?
This organic Korean green tea offers a nuanced flavor profile that elegantly bridges the fresh briskness of Japanese greens with the savory depth of Chinese pan-fired varieties. Expect a rich infusion. It leans nutty, bready and complex.
How should I brew Nok Cha?
Water around 70–80 °C (158–176 °F). In a mug, steep 2–3 min. For gongfu, use 3–5 g per 100 ml, 15–30 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. The biggest mistake with green tea is using boiling water. Keep it well below that and you won't get bitterness.
Where does Nok Cha come from?
Grown in Jirisan, South Korea. The leaves got a light roast after picking.
How much does Nok Cha cost?
Starts at $25.00 from Dobrá Tea, or about $0.50/g. A 50g package gets you around 8 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $3.00 per session. Explore more green teas on Teadar.
